CLASSES WILL RESUME TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 5

Our city has experienced one of the worst storms in years.  We hope our Northwood families have endured the storm safely.  Some of the area around our school was impacted by the high waters.  Thankfully, Northwood did not endure any damage.  Our children absorb everything in their environment and are in need of their usual consistency.

Northwood will resume classes on Tuesday, September 5th.

In light of all the affected, we would also like to have a collection of items at our school.  Items to be collected will be delivered to Northwood families in need as well as local shelters.

Items Needed:

  • Toiletries
  • Paper goods
  • Diapers
  • Wipes
  • Bottled Water
  • Trash Bags-Large (Contractor size)
  • Cleaning Supplies (Such as clorox, etc.)
  • Boxes

Thank you in advance for your help and support.

Inclement Weather Update

In conjunction with Klein ISD and Harris County authorities, Northwood Montessori will remain closed until Tuesday, September 5th.  This decision is made out of abundance of caution for the life of our families due to the widespread nature of this catastrophic event.  Please stay safe and off the roads.

Parents bring a dish from their country of origin as well which  will be enjoyed after the children do the parade of nations carrying flags from all over the world. We are very fortunate at Northwood Montessori School to have families from all around the world, making our environment rich in culture and diversity which is what makes Northwood such a special place.
