Thank you for helping to make Northwood’s fundraiser a success! Below are resources and frequently asked questions to help you collect or submit donations for this year’s fundraiser.

Why are we fundraising?

Each year, Northwood parents get together to plan a fun evening for all of the adults in the Northwood community, past and present, to raise funds for the school. You may wonder what all this fundraising is for. While tuition typically covers the costs of operating the school, like salaries, utilities, and general maintenance, it does not cover things like continuing staff development, furniture in the classrooms, and other capital improvements of the school grounds and facilities. Additionally, 10% of the funds raised will go toward the school’s scholarship fund. 100% of the fundraiser proceeds go to the school. Some examples of how the annual fundraiser has benefited Northwood recently:

  • The new Toddler Building (2021)
  • AMI training course for Mrs. Shah on the path to establish an AMI recognized toddler community. (2022)
  • Replacement of the driveway bridge (2022)
  • New material shelves in all the classrooms (2020)
  • New playground equipment (2018)
