I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Arts with a major in Education and psychology , which laid the foundation for my passion for teaching and working with children. I owe a special debt of gratitude to my late mother, whose constant encouragement inspired me to pursue a professional career in education.
I began my Montessori journey in Pakistan, where I earned my first AMI Montessori certification as a trained guide. After moving to the United States i continued to enhance my professional development by completing another AMI Montessori certification from the Houston Montessori Institute (HMI). These experiences deepened my understanding of Montessori philosophy and strengthened my commitment to fostering independent and joyful learning in children.
I had the privilege of completing my teaching hours at Northwood Montessori, where I gained valuable hands-on experience and learned from an inspiring team of educators.
I initially joined Northwood as a substitute teacher, and I am now working full time as an assistant in Janet Westphal’s classroom, where I continue to learn and gain inspiration every day. I remain truly grateful to Northwood Montessori for providing me with the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally .
Outside the classroom, I enjoy painting and home décor, and I am supported by my loving husband and brother.
My passion for early childhood education continues to inspire me to create a nurturing, respectful, and stimulating environment where every child can thrive and reach their fullest potential.
“Education is a natural process carried out by the child and is not acquired by listening to words but by experiences in the environment" Maria Montessori
