Summer Session

At Northwood Montessori School, learning continues through the summer in a joyful, engaging, and authentic Montessori environment. Our Summer Session offers children the opportunity to explore, learn, and grow while maintaining the consistency and structure of our AMI-accredited  Montessori curriculum.

Throughout the summer, children remain immersed in the same thoughtfully prepared classrooms, guided by our trained Montessori educators. The materials and lessons support each child’s natural curiosity, independence, and love of learning—ensuring that summer remains both enriching and purposeful.

In addition to our traditional Montessori work, the Summer Session features two-week themed explorations designed to spark imagination and creativity. These themes invite hands-on discovery through art, science, nature, and practical life activities, while staying true to the Montessori philosophy of following the child

Our Summer Session is a continuation of the authentic Montessori experience that nurtures the whole child: mind, body, and spirit. Children enjoy consistency, familiarity, and the opportunity to deepen their connection to their environment and community
